Mall Game Item Tier List
S-tier saves the run. C-tier is a flashlight you forgot to turn off.
This list ranks Tape 1 gear by clear contribution, not by drip. Locations and quest rules stay on the items guide. Hides are a separate list. If an item is not on Tape 1, it is not here - Lotus is not a rank yet.
S tier
Revive tickets. Meta item. They are how you learn Hard Mode without uninstalling. Get them from Códigos, invites, and Tix. Not found on a shelf.
Taser (during David’s quest). The only stun. Without it the arm does not exist. Misuse drops it to C for that attempt.
Layered vent keys. Every hatch you cannot open is a quest you have not finished. Filip - later NPCs. Treat keys as progress, not junk.
Bathroom / locker access is not an item, but pizza + a ticket + a locker is the S-tier “loadout.” See Versteck-Plätze.
A tier
Flashlight. S if you toggle it. A if you are average. F if it stays on. We rank the item as A because the tool is mandatory and the skill is on you. Spielanleitung is the manual.
Pizza. Infinite hunger. Eat before taser and fuel. Never skip it to “save time” - hunger fidgets kill freeze prompts.
David’s arm. Quest-critical. Ranked A not S because it is a one-time object, not a tool you keep.
Basement keys. Gate to fuel and Fatback. A because the run cannot finish without them, but they do not save you in a chase.
B tier
Glizzy. Mandatory for Gavin, optional as food. B because the hunt wastes time if you check the wrong spawn (table vs stand). Once you know the spawn it plays like an A fetch.
Fuel cans. Mandatory, clunky, bug-prone counters. B as items; the route around them is the real skill (walkthrough + bathroom highway).
Security key / lounge pickups. Extra, sometimes Hard-only. Nice, not the ending.
Witches Brew (Hard). Hunger or flavor. B on Hard if you are already bleeding hunger; skip on Normal.
C tier
Sprint (as a habit). Not an item, listed because players treat Shift like an item they always “equip.” C on Normal empty halls, F on Hard near her.
Flashlight-always-on. Same story. The item is A; this usage is C/F.
F tier
Noclip / speed scripts used as items. They trip the game’s snap-back anti-cheat and can cost the account. Not a tier, a warning - scripts hub.
Parking-lot exit fantasy. Not in the inventory. F.
Hard Mode deltas
Nothing new enters S. Tickets climb even higher because Filip’s extra step and faster patrols drain lives. Glizzy drops toward B until you memorize the Hard stand spawn. Read Schwerer Modus.
How to use this list in a run
- Codes for tickets before Tape 1.
- Pizza on the way to every dangerous wing.
- Keys as a checklist, not a mystery.
- Taser only for the arm.
- Never rank a hide as an item - switch to hiding-spot tiers when she is in the wing.
Cast context: Mother is why S-tier exists. NPCs are why you are carrying hot dogs in a horror game.
Common mis-ranks
Players overrate the flashlight because it is always in the hand, and underrate pizza because it is boring. Boring is S-adjacent. A hunger fidget during David’s stun is a wipe that looks like a taser skill issue. Players also overrate noclip as an “item.” It is not in the table because it is not in the game. If you cannot open a hatch, you are missing a key from the Komplettlösung, not a loot rarity.
Revisit this list after the first Hard badge. Your personal S-tier will still be tickets and lockers. Everything else is a fetch. If a new Tape 1 prop appears in alpha, it starts at B until it saves a run more than pizza does.
