Mall Game Co-op

Mall Game servers hold up to 50 players. That number is a lobby cap, not a recommended party. Tape 1 is a stealth fetch with one hunter. Ten loud bodies in BCPenney is worse than solo. This page is the co-op rules the full walkthrough only sketches.

Party size that actually works

Sweet spot: two or three. One watcher tracks Mother. One runner grabs the glizzy, arm, or fuel. A third can sit in a locker as a revive battery or call HUD numbers. Four-plus only if everyone already knows how to survive and agrees to walk, not sprint.

A 50-player public server is a noise machine. Footsteps, tasers, and flashlight beams stack. If you are learning Act 2, create a private-enough group: friends join you from the Roblox page, then you start Tape 1 together. The Full House badge (“You’ve brought all your friends along for the ride!”) is a social award, not a reason to fill the server. Details on badges.

Roles

• Watcher. Eyes on Mother. Calls wing, not a novel. “BCPenney concourse, moving food court.” Does not taser unless the runner is already committed to David’s arm.
• Runner. Items and NPCs. Gavin, David, Dylan, Fatback, code. Does not hide in the same locker as the watcher.
• Caller (optional). Reads the quest order number out loud. If someone dies, they rejoin that number, not Gavin after the glizzy is already in.

Do not all taser. The stun is a window, not a team ult. Two tasers on cooldown while Mother is on the arm is a wipe. Do not all hide in one locker - Hard and tight offices punish stacked hitboxes.

Revives in a group

The live Roblox description says invite a friend in-game for a free revive. That is the current group safety net. The old “join NEN SHAKER STUDIOS for a ticket” line is gone from the revamp blurb; join the studio group for shouts, not for a guaranteed ticket.

Codes still matter. Tix convert to tickets. Spend them on David’s arm and the fuel loop, never on Act 1. If two of you carry tickets, agree who burns first so you do not double-spend on the same grab.

Roblox Plus is advertised as +10% bonus rewards on the live page. It is not a second hunter. It does not make Mother slower.

Voice rules that keep people alive

Short calls. Wing, then hide, then HUD number. If Mother is in BCPenney and the objective is fuel, you are in the wrong movie - go back to David’s keys, not the cafeteria vent. Freeze prompts: both thumbs off on mobile, no stick drift, no “I’m just peeking.”

Pizza before taser and jerrycans. Flashlight off in the concourse, on at pads and labels. After a wipe, the dead player waits for the current objective name before running. Sending them to Filip’s speech while you are in management is how groups desync.

Alpha + co-op

The revamp is still alpha. NPCs clip. Claim Codes hides on first spawn. Fuel counts go negative. Rejoin first. Do not teach a friend to paste a universal script because one vent was one-way. Snap-back still exists.

Checkpoints are a common ask in comments on the official trailer. They are not a documented Tape 1 feature. Play as if a grab without a ticket sends you back a chunk of Act 2. That is why tickets exist.

When to stay solo

If your friends sprint as a default, play solo until they watch a freeze. If they want Hard on night one, say no - Hard Mode is the same spine with less slack. If they only joined for Full House and will AFK in the lot, leave them in the lobby; AFK bodies still make sound when they catch up.
